The location

Weybridge is a very affluent town south of London in the Surrey commuter belt. The house is in one of the most desirable roads - mainly well established edwardian properties that sell for over a million pounds! You are in walking distance to the train station and can also walk to Weybridge centre - nice cafes, bars, restaurants, antique shops, an art gallery, a supermarket, traditional english pubs all less than 5 minutes away from our sedate and quite road. As well as the best schools in Weybridge both junior and secondary, tertiary. A short drive to anything you want in terms of retail, leisure, health clubs anything.
You can go walking, running or go for a cycle along the Thames, or the canal to Guildford - starting from 2 minutes away. You can get a boat to central London or up to Oxford. The railway station is 5 minutes away and it is half an hour (with trains every 15 minutes) to Waterloo and the South Bank - by fast, modern air conditioned train.
This is beautiful forested golf country near Wentworth and many other golf courses, there are also Tennis clubs and great public tennis courts in the public park that is 5 minutes away - this features some great green space and a lovely childrens play area.
The south bank in London always hosts shows or exhibitions to very famous international artists . But you can also go to free shows - its great to stroll around the museums and galleries on a Sunday - but all of London is easily available.
Weybridge is 10 miles from Heathrow and you can drive there or get a train or bus. You are therefore very near to many available flights anywhere. We are also close to Luton, Stanstead, even Bournemouth airports if you want to take advantage of budget airfares to european cites.
If you want to visit other places in the U.K you are perfectly positioned for the motorway network and can reach Brighton (1h), Bath (1h), Oxford (1h15) Cambridge (2h), Birmingham (2h), Manchester (3h). You can practically visit anywhere in the U.K.

The Home

It is an old house from 1901, with stunning original staircases and oak panelling, high ceilings, parquet, and wooden floors. It has been renewed and has 2 new bathrooms and a new kitchen and family room. The house is ideally situated for London, close to the airport, the motorway network and the railway but you feel as if you were in the countryside, right by the River Thames and its walks and cycle rides or even boat rides and 2 minutes from Weybridge centre and its many high quality shops, restarants and bars.

There are 4 floors:

As you enter; A large hallway and a groundfloor toilet;
the kitchen, utility, dining area - all brand new with all appliances, a walk-in pantry, sun room;
a suite of 2 adjointing living rooms used as a library/games room (has an original fireplace) and as a lounge with bar, (Home Cinema here), these rooms are oak panneled, terracotta stucco plastered and have massive oak dividing doors that completely open or close to use the space as you wish - cosy or open plan;
rearwards there is access via a lobby to the back gardens - well established with patio and bbq area flowing on to a detached garage and driveway to the rear access gates.
Up the first stairs, there is a large beautifully lit gallery area with a computer station and play area.
On the next floor , we have 3 double bedrooms, one with a new en suite steam room/shower and a new family bathroom .
